6th grade took a different approach at math today. We used jump rope to create ratio tables! The kids had so much fun and got to see "when would you use this in real life".








2nd grade celebrated their reading of "Charlotte's Web" with some visitors, fun activities, and a party to watch the movie! Second grade teachers did an amazing job of transforming their rooms and bringing the book to life!










Get ready for a fun filled day of Halloween fun! Two great things going on in the area! Check them out and have a spooky weekend!



The flu vaccine clinic is tomorrow, October 22. If you turned in a flu vaccine consent form and no longer wish to have your child receive the vaccine, please call the school at 270-749-5665 to let us know. Thank you!

Congratulations to Park City Beta for qualifying in Collaboration Connection and Project Proposal. The kids exhibited great teamwork!!

REMINDER: Monday Oct 14...galaxy dress up day...think galaxy, planets, space, aliens!!! Then join us at 5 for our Family Literacy "OUT OF THIS WORLD" event! (K will meet at 4). Games, prizes, snacks, $3 hot dog meal, lots of fun!!


Next week is Fall Break! We will see our bears back on Monday October 14.

In Kindergarten we learned about the sense of touch today. Mrs. Moore's class got to feel the inside of a pumpkin!

4th grade is working on Comparing numbers and fact fluency



We have been learning about Thank you notes with Clifford. They were so excited about making and giving them today.


Kindergarten is learning about the 5 senses. Today we talked about how we use our sight. Mrs. Moore's class used magnify glasses on a seek and find Fall activity.






Mrs. Riggs' 3rd and 4th grade classes competed in a STEM paper airplane contest today! All students did a fantastic job but these were the winning teams in each class!
