Dear Staff and Students,
As we kick off the 2025-2026 school year, I am excited to share that we will be launching our 95210 wellness initiative, kicking off today and running through April.

Please remember the key components of the initiative:
• 9 Hours of Sleep 🛏️
• 5 Servings of Fruits & Vegetables 🍎
• 2 Hours or Less of Screen Time 🖥️
• 1 Hour of Physical Activity 🏃🏼
• 0 Sugary Drinks 🥤

The Google Form will be open until the last Monday of each month, and we will announce winners on that week's #WellnessWednesday.

Our kindergarteners had so much fun exploring with geoblocks during math time! They used their creativity and problem-solving skills to build houses while learning about shapes.

Reminder for Tonight PreK Bash:
Starts at 5:00 in the cafeteria. Come in at door 4.
Begin with a quick presentation in the cafeteria and word from staff. Then everyone will be dismissed to the classrooms for an activity and class tour. We can’t wait to see our preschoolers!

Our STEAM Lab is more than just a classroom—it’s a space where creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning come alive. Students have the opportunity to dive into science, technology, engineering, art, and math through exciting projects that spark curiosity and innovation.

Join us in welcoming our new kindergarten and preschool teachers!

Today in Fourth grade, students took part in a hands-on social emotional writing activity. They were challenged to put toothpaste back in the tube after it had been squeezed out. The toothpaste was a metaphor for our words and how once they have been spoken (the toothpaste is out of the tube), they can never truly be taken back. Students then wrote about an experience where they had either squeezed the toothpaste out themselves, or had it done to them.

Wishing all the students, parents, and teachers a fantastic start to the new school year. Whether it’s the first day of kindergarten or sixth grade, here's to new beginnings, new friends, and lots of learning.
