Students from Barren County High School visited Park City Elementary to present to our Magnet Students. The presentation included information on Barren County’s agriculture, business, culinary, technology and engineering, and medical pathways. The students created and presented posters with help from the high school students. The Magnet Club is sponsored by Jenna Jackson and Emily Gentry.

Due to lack of lack of participation for our event Friday, we are postponing fall festival to the spring. We will return cash/checks that were sent to school with the student that brought them. Any items donated will be used for a silent auction at our Christmas program. Sorry for the short notice, but we feel that this is best for the success of the event. This is a huge fundraiser and takes a lot of time to prepare and set up. We appreciate your understanding in our decision.

Mrs. Alyssa’s preschool class had such a fun week learning all about community helpers! 🏥🚒👷‍♂️
We were lucky to have several visitors stop by and share about their important jobs, including a nurse, an EMT, a road worker, and even Mr. Clifford! The preschoolers loved hearing how each helper keeps our community safe and running smoothly. 💛

A huge thank you to Brennan Crain for visiting our magnet students!

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your insights on the importance of communication in our communities and how strong communication skills help us become great leaders. Your words inspired our students to think about the power of connection, leadership, and using their voices to make a positive impact.

Thank you for encouraging our future leaders to listen, speak, and lead with purpose!
