Park City running club finished the year out this week with a combined total of 1,490 miles! Great job Bears! 🐻 🏃🏃♀️
Thank you Mr. Nicholson for working with our Magnet students on creating resumes and doing mock interviews with them so they could get an idea of what it will be like when they enter the working field or have to interview for club officers! They learned a lot!
We are now taking nominations for a minority parent representative for our school-based decision making council. If you are a minority or know a minority who is interested, please email beth.davidson@barren.kyschools.us or call PCE at 270-749-5665 to let us know. Voting will take place next week in the front office at PCE. A minority is defined as American Indian; Alaskan native; African-American; Hispanic, including people of
Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban and Central American or South American origin; Pacific Islander; or other
ethnic group underrepresented in the school (KRS 160.345(1)(a)).
Due to the forecast for Friday, field day will now be next Friday May 23.

Our Treasure Trove Park fundraiser raised $2300 for our PTO to help us continue to provide for our school, staff, and students. Along with that, we received a certificate for FREE field trips for the entire school!
Our top sellers were Bexley Bryant and Lili Shaw!! Special thanks to Tuck, Brittany, Stuart and Treasure Trove Park for this amazing opportunity!!

Just a reminder that preschool graduation is tomorrow, Monday, May 5 at 9:30 in the gym. Please check in with your ID and get a visitor's tag in the front lobby before proceeding the the gym. Also, KSA testing begins on Tuesday, May 6, so please try to schedule all appointments after school hours so that students are at school for testing. Thank you!
