An announcement to Park City Families from Mr. Jackson:
Good morning, Park City Families!
Safety is our number one priority. I wanted to share important safety information about new and existing safety measures.
We have a new safety software program that all Barren County Schools are implementing. Effective today, 10-15-26, all visitors who need access beyond the office will need to have their driver’s license (cannot be a photo or on your cellphone) ready to scan in our new software program. If you have an appointment, please plan to arrive a little early.
Also, please remember that all students being picked up in the car line must have a car line tag issued by the school. If you do not have a car tag and need one, please contact the front office.

Update to PTO snack cart. We will be offering snacks for sale every day to help raise money for PTO. Park City's PTO supports so many activities and events for Park City students, class events, staff and student appreciation activities and field trips. Help us help the school. See flyer for details.
PCE needs you. We are accepting donations for the PCE Fall Festival. See flyer for details.
Attention PCE Families: In honor of Veterans Day we will be honoring our Veterans on November 10th. We are going to create a display of all the Veterans names we know and love to show our appreciation for their sacrifice to our country. You can complete this form or send all the information by email to Mrs. Gentry as well. Please email emily.gentry@barren.kyschools.us the name and a picture of the veteran you know. Please have all of your pictures emailed to Mrs. Gentry by Wednesday, November 4th. We want to have plenty of time to get our “Wall of Heroes” up before our Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 10th. Thank you for your help in making our Veterans Day Celebration a success!

Park City Elementary will be providing flu shots on October 20th to students who have turned in thier consent form. Please make sure to inform your student that they will be recieving a shot that day.
Our Attendance All-Stars brought the fun to the court! On October 1, before fall break, Park City Elementary celebrated students with good attendance with a students vs. teachers basketball game!

Our littlest Bears enjoyed some fall fun at Jackson’s Orchard last week before fall break! From the pumpkin patch to the slide and wagon ride, our Pre-K students made wonderful memories with friends. 🎃❤️

Mrs. Nicholson’s first graders wrapped up Agriculture Week with a special animal visit! Our Bears enjoyed seeing the horse up close and sharing this experience with their classmates. What a memorable final day!

Park City Elementary has had a blast celebrating Agriculture Week.
PTO will be selling BOO bags as a fundraiser. Expect information to be sent home with your child this week.
Ag Education Week begins tomorrow at Park City, and we are excited to celebrate the impact agriculture has on our local community.
We will have dress-up days all week, starting with "Ag Means Business' Monday where students may dress up like an agribusiness career, such as farmer, veterinarian, truck driver, chef, banker, ag teacher, grocer, etc.
We look forward to seeing our students support and honor agriculture in Barren County!
